Welcome to the Grand Opening and Launch of “A Great Day’s Work”

Grand Opening“A Great Day’s Work” was created and launched to bring additional value to your career and work partnerships. One of my goals is to streamline the resources made available to administrative professionals and employers throughout the world. There are many resources that are incredible gems, and I want to make sure you know about them.  You will no longer need to spend your precious minutes searching on Google for resources. Once I have finished uploading all of these valuable resources, you will just need to remember one website www.agreatdayswork.com.

Being an administrative professional can be an exciting career. For me, it has been an amazing career choice with so many opportunities for nearly two decades. I have always believed in putting in and creating a great day’s work. Life is too short to be working in an industry or in a career that doesn’t make us truly happy each day. Being an administrative professional makes me happy! Building an effective high-performing partnership with the CEO to lead a multi-million dollar corporation makes me happy. Serving my employer makes me happy! Delivering exceptional customer service to external and internal customers makes me happy.

Winston Churchill said, “You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.” I make a living like many of you as an administrative professional, but I’m creating a richer more fulfilling life by giving. “A Great Day’s Work” is just that–an opportunity for me to give to you, to your employer, and to the world. I’m excited to start this journey and cannot wait to meet you online or in person!

  1. I think reading this will help me be a good mom and wife also. The reason I feel this is because I have to help and serve those in my family to be successful. I have to plan my day around their day and fit everything in and so for this reason I am excited to read and see how I can do better.

  2. I have always felt that whatever I do, I do with excellence. Reading this will help me in my professional life as well as my personal life. Here is to ” A Great Day’s Work.”

  3. Thank you Stacy for sharing this wonderful website full of such great information! I look forward to reading your posts going forward and will share with the other Administrative Secretaries here where I work. You certainly have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through the years! I am currently studying for the CAP-OM exam from the IAAP website, so have been doing alot of research and have stumbled upon a lot of Administrative Professional websites out there which I did not know existed. Thanks again for sharing your site with me; and in closing, I also quote Winston Churchill – “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts”
