Education:  A Gift for Kate

KateMeet Stacy’s friend Kate!  Kate was born with Dandy-Walker Syndrome and CHARGE Syndrome.  She is the daughter of her former college roommate and good friend Rebekah.  Kate and her family attended the 12th International CHARGE Syndrome Conference in Chicago, IL July 30 – August 2, 2015.  Kate wanted her parents and brothers to learn more about what to expect and how to best help her as she continues to grow and face her unique set of challenges.  She also wanted her family to be able to associate with other families of CHARGE children so they could learn from them and build an expanded support system. Rebekah and her family are thankful for the additional resources that were raised through the support of our readers to support their education.  Thank you to everyone who donated to support Kate!  Nearly $7,000 was raised!
